Rumours about Varun Dhawan and his longtime girlfriend Natasha Dalal’s wedding have been around for quite some time now. Every now and then, speculations about their wedding date or their wedding destination surface on the Internet. Recently, Kareena Kapoor Khan accidentally let the cat out of the bag and revealed that Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal are engaged. Varun Dhawan was a guest on Kareena’s radio show 'What Women Want', and it was during their conversation that Kareena accidentally revealed something that confirmed Natasha and Varun’s engagement.
Kareena, while speaking to Varun on What Women Want, referred to Natasha Dalal as his ‘fiancee’ thereby confirming their engagement. Varun Dhawan also opened up about getting married, and said, “See, marriage, coming into this time period when you have been with someone for so long... I felt like getting married after I saw my brother and my bhabhi. When I saw my niece Niara, I was like, ‘This is good.’” He said that while he and Natasha did not have a problem with a live-in relationship, their families wanted them to get married.
“Natasha and her parents have been pretty chill in that sense but I think after a certain period, you decide that you want to live with each other. She and I wouldn’t have minded a live-in relationship but my parents wanted us... Because I have my own place now,” said Varun.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan will next be seen in David Dhawan’s Coolie No 1, which is a reboot of the 1995 film of the same name. Coolie No 1 also stars Sara Ali Khan, and the film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this Christmas.
